Amit Mitra is a Bangalore based Documentary filmmaker. He makes documentaries on Environmental and Social issues. A passionate wildlife photographer, he also works as an IT Consultant.

Films
“Lives: Lost & Saved”, a Documentary on Road Traffic Accidents of Bangalore, is currently under editing. The documentary features Bangalore Traffic Police, the 108 Ambulance Service and Doctors from Columbia Asia and St. John’s Hospital.

“An Unavoidable Disagreement”, a 14 mins Wildlife Documentary on Snow Leopards was the
Official selection at “Kolkata Short Film Festival 2009”.
Entirely shot in Ladakh with World's leading Snow Leopards experts and with JnK Wildlife Department. Co-written, edited and directed.
Screened in Kolkata Short Film Festival at Nandan, Kolkata’s most prestigious cultural hub.

“Make Earth Green”, a short film on Environmental group of IT Professionals.
Written, Edited and Directed. Screened in World Environment Forum, Bangalore.
